The Last Real Africa

One of Stephanie's lifelong dreams has been to visit all seven continents, including Antartica. Her love for traveling has blended well with her love for teaching and she has had some extroidinary experiences over the last year. Her year in Thailand is coming to a close and for her I think it will be bittersweet. She has grown so close to her students and will never be able to forget her time in Thailand, but many adventures await for her.

Last week Stephanie was offered a teaching job in Zambia at the International School of Lusaka. It is a two year position and would start in August. After a lot of thinking and pondering her options, she has decided to take the job. I am so excited for her and can't wait to visit!

It is said to be the real last Africa and is home to some of the best walking safari tours. She will be living in a very safe community with other ex-pats and will continue to enjoy the pleasures of having a maid and even a gardner. So here's to you Stephanie and how proud we all are of you!
